Docuvitae’s Crate and Barrel Wedding on Style Me Pretty
We are thrilled! Style Me Pretty just published Laura photos from the Crate & Barrel Ultimate Wedding. Laura and Hannah went on Halloween weekend last year (see the last shot below) which added an extra layer of fun. They had a great time with Stephanie and Michael and made some beautiful pictures for the lucky contest winners. I wish I had known about the Crate & Barrel contest when I got married!

Eugene Smith’s Country Doctor on Life.com
Life.com is republishing Eugene Smith’s photo essay on the Country Doctor. I was a finalist for the W. Eugene Smith Grant for humanistic photography the year I started Docuvitae. I have always been inspired by Eugene Smith’s work.

Packing our bags…
We haven’t let the cat out of the proverbial bag, but we can hardly hold on to this any longer. So excited to be packing our bags and heading to New Orleans for the Crate and Barrel Ultimate Wedding 2011 with our globe trotting bride and groom, Stephanie and Michael. A huge thank you to Yifat Oren and everyone on her team for designing this wedding right out of a southern novel. Can’t let any more details escape, but we will be keeping you posted! Stay tuned and check out our new website while you are at it!

New Feature on Style Me Pretty!
We are so excited to have been featured again on Style Me Pretty. 
This was a beautiful wedding held at Vibiana, with elegant details and organic floral designs by Neil from Gilly Flowers.

Last week, National Kissing Day made a large splash and I stopped to think about what a gift Docuvitae is given that we get to tag along and document such important milestones in people’s lives. In light of that, we have gone through our archives and pulled some of our favorite kisses! Some are between friends, between family and between Brides and Grooms! I’m inspired to go find someone to kiss!
